Meditation

In simple terms, Meditation is a process of concentrated awareness. As the meditator evolves, this becomes a more continuous process and happens even during action, as well as sitting in silence. Sitting in silence brings its own rewards, but is not the only type of meditation. However, because of the benefits of silent meditation, it is recommended for most people on the path of healing or spiritual ascension. On the spiritual side, it shows The Divine that you mean business, that you are serious about listening deeply. On any path, you will be surprised at what comes up during stillness.

If you wish to receive clarity in ways not provided by the ordinary senses, then you must turn your Awareness away from the senses. (Seems pretty obvious when you say it out loud!)

I have been trained in and have explored numerous approaches to meditation, and what I’ll say is this: the right technique for you is the one that works. For that reason, I suggest we keep it simple to begin with.
